I stole this from Winn's blog.

What I was doing ten years ago:
1995. Hmm, I was brand-new at Brentwood High- I hated the school, and severely disliked my parents for making me go there.

Five years ago:
the year 2000, sophomore yr. In college. I had just pledged DZ and was making friends with Ari, Conley and Jocie- we were soon to be known as the DIVAS among the school of Music.

One year ago:
September 2004. I was working at the Bone & Joint Clinic (yuck!) but had just moved into the Penthouse with Emily and Rhonda (yea!)

Yesterday:
work, tap class, watched a really weird movie then baseball, bed.

What I was doing ten years ago:
1995. I was in the eighth grade...my second favorite year of school. That was the year everybody tried smoking.

Five years ago:
the year 2000, I graduated high school and started college at Baylor. I had my first boyfriend, first kiss. I was away from my parents for the first time. It was a big year for me.

One year ago:
2004. I got my first job at Vanderbilt, moved out of the house into an apartment, opened a retirement account, joined a new church (and a book group).

Yesterday:
work, hosted book group, cleaned my parents' house where I'm staying, talked to Jen Gash...snoozed.

What I was doing ten years ago:
1995. I was a freshman at Lafayette HS in Lexington, KY. I tripped on the first day of classes which really sucked.

Five years ago:
2000. I was being deemed a Diva by the S of M w/ Bradley, Conley and Jocie by my side. And trying to get Bradley to cuss. (still trying)
One year ago:
2004. I was getting ready to leave my highly comfortable job at BBMPI for bigger and better things. That worked.

Yesterday:
Packed for San Diego, watched baseball and shared a beer with Bart, shopped for kazoos.

What I was doing ten years ago:
1995? 8th grade, my first year at Lexington Christian. I was learning lots about the English language that I hadn't previously learned in public school. In October, I was preparing for a costume party to which Dana Creech wore a Queen of Hearts costume that we made fun of her for. I was not always super nice :(. I was also carrying a lot of adolescent weight on my 5'1 body.

Five years ago:
My freshman year at OCU. This time of year I was preparing for Choreography Show; we danced to Santana's "Maria, Maria." I hated that dance with every fiber of my being. Thank you.

One year ago:
I was pretending to be happy in Washington DC.

Yesterday:
work at Vandy, work at Stoney River, watched ER with my mom and Lindsey (btw, I hate ER)

What I was doing ten years ago:
Frosh at Beech High School in Hendersonville, TN. Just made the HS Girls Soccer Team. Learned the difference between boys and men...yummy!

Five years ago:
Sophomore at MTSU, doing ADPi, Blue Belles, writing for Sidelines. Aren't I quite the joiner... Met my nine best friends. Dated Corey Brown (yes, we had the same last name--what can I say, I love my last name!)

One year ago:
Working stiff at good ol' Adtec, spending my first October on the South side of Nashville, in Franklin; joined Brentwood Baptist and started some wonderful friendships! Ummm...Let's hope I can add a husband and kids to this list after the next ten years...

Yesterday:
work and then went home and talked on the phone all night long--helped my dad install turbo tax on his computer to do his 2004 taxes...finally; gave my old PR intern an interview for one of her
classes; talked to my two best friends, Amy & Rachel; and talked to Amanda, author of this lovely blog.

I was in the sixth grade at Brentwood Middle and trying to be cool wearing my boots with kahki shorts.

Five years ago:
I was a junior at Brentwood High and I was one of the watergirls for the football team.

One year ago:
I was at Columbia State, aka the Harvard of Franklin, aka the 13th grade. Also working at Logan's.

Yesterday:
I worked and waited on many ungrateful customers at Logan's.

Well, well, this'll be fun...

What I was doing ten years ago:
Living in Minsk, Belarus working with CCC and getting to travel all over Eastern Europe and Russia. Sitting in Russian class confused all day. Wearing layers for warmth. Reading brief internet reports of a rumored Braves World Series Title - the first, and apparantly only, one they will win in my lifetime. And I was overseas. *Sigh*

Five years ago:
Living in Murfreesboro, TN, still with CCC, having returned from Yekaterinburg, Russia that summer with a team of people that included a future Miss Tennessee. Good times.

One year ago:
Living in Knoxville, TN in the hood that was Ft. Sanders. Great house, until the new landlord kicked us out cause his punk kid needed a place to live.

Yesterday:
Church, Panera, The Ranch (Halo with Hunter and Castro), Braves game (innings 10-15, dangit!!), small group at church, hanging with Haley, JC, Kristi, and Darren after that.

What I was doing ten years ago:
October 1995. I was 14 years old, in 9th grade at North Florida Christian School in Tallahassee. Had a crush on Matt and Adam. Cheerleading was life. Best friends were Niki Boone ("Tater") and Holly Hull ("Tot"). Nickname was Buffy.

Five years ago:
October 2000. 19 years old, beginning sophomore year at Ouachita Baptist University, was living with Ashley. Flying Wombats were life. Parents had just moved from Tallahassee to Alexandria, LA. Nickname was Spunky and Louise. This was the month I drove to Nashville to see Garth at the Opry, and then to Tallahassee for the FSU-UF game. Wanted to live in Nashville, still.

One year ago:
October 2004. 23 years old, living in Nashville with best friends Emily and Amanda. Had a crush on no one, was trying to get over John. Working for my favorite restaurant Logan's. BBC Retreat. Friends were life. Nickname was Rhonda Lu.

Yesterday:
2005, 24 years old! Living in Nashville with Emily and an empty room. Crazy about John. Nickname is Rhonda Lu and Cogga. Had a SALT meeting for church.

1995. Volunteering at BHS and BMS and loving every minute of it and hoping that one day Amanda would love BHS too!!

Five years ago:
the year 2000--I was working part-time at Lifeway Christian Store and still enjoying being a stay-at-home mom for the most part.

One year ago:
October 2004--Working at RHS and cheering on the Raptors in their first season post football playoffs!!

Yesterday:
Working at RHS and cheering on the Raptors in soccer and JV football and then coming home and crashing on the couch.
